Service Clubs We Support
Below are the Service Clubs we support in our community. Our work with the clubs impacts 145 children.

Annandale Aktion Club - Gary Martin, Sponser The Aktion Club allows adults living with disabilities to participate in community service projects, gain leadership skills and become more involved in society. Annandale Aktion club meets the 2nd Tues of each month and there are 28 active members. Duluth Kiwanis Club has sponsored the Annandale Aktion club for over 22 years. Each quarter the club participates in a community service project, this year the club filled book bags for DFACS children. |

Monarch School Aktion Club - Bruce Saarela, Sponsor This club is focused on students with disabilities to participate in community service projects, gain leadership skills and become more involved in society. These students have gained life skills thru an in-school print shop making custom printed tee-shirts and also run a very profitable in-school 'Coffee Shop', which is open to the public.

Duluth Middle School - Builders Club - Virginia Klaer, Sponsor The Builders Club is geared toward adolescent students and allows them to develop leadership skills, improve self-esteem, increase civic engagement and learn life skills through service. The Builders Club empowers them to be themselves, work together with friends, and implement plans through action. These students have volunteered in Kiwanis One Day and the Pancake Breakfast. |

Duluth High School - Key Club - George Rhode, Sponsor The Duluth Key Club International is a service leadership organization for teens, that teaches leadership through service to others. Key Club’s members build themselves as they build their schools and communities. They are active participants in the annual Pancake Breakfast and the Duluth Fall Festival. |

Chesney Elementary BUGS Program - Jim Johnson, Sponsor Bringing Up Grades – BUGS recognizes students who raise their grades to an acceptable range and maintain or continue to raise them from one grading period to the next. Recognition includes being placed on the school's BUG Honor Roll; a food-themed party; and presentation of certificates, buttons and other giveaways |

Berkeley Lake Elementary K Kids - Gil Guggenheimer, Sponsor K-Kids is a service leadership program for primary school students. K-Kids provides students with opportunities to work together on service projects, develop leadership potential and create strong moral character. K-Kids is a "student-led" community-service organization, which operates under school regulations and draws its members from the student body. This new club currently has will soon be inducting its officiers. |

Join Us For Lunch
Our club meets at two different locations and on different days and has different meeting times. Be sure to review our Calendar of Events for meeting dates and times. Also, during the holidays and special events there may not be a club meeting.
