Builders Club Students present Christmas Cards to Seniors

During a Sunday in December, two members of the Duluth Middle School Builders Club, Secretary,  Loren Yi and Treasurer Elizabeth Bielicki, presented 45 Christmas greetings made by each club member to the residents of Plantation South, Assisted Living Residence, in Duluth.

The Builders Club is sponsored by the Duluth Kiwanis Club, who funds a club and provides a club sponsor.  The club has 42 members who work on a variety of projects, which teach them the value of volunteering in the community and the gift of giving back.

Club's Participation in 2011 Duluth Fall Festival a Big Success

The Kiwanis Club of Duluth, Georgia participated in the 2011 Duluth Fall Festival during the last weekend of September as a food vendor. The club raised $1,200 (after expenses) and we sold out everything by end of Sunday. Check out our photo gallery of the event by clicking here.
