Duluth Middle School Builders Club Planting Project

The Duluth Middle School Builders Club members recently refreshed the planters at the school entrance with pansies for the winter season. This is an ongoing project for the club said Club Advisor, Virginia Klaer of the Golden Kiwanis Club. The Builders Club has over 30 members and is designed to help students build character and leadership through community service projects. The club is already working toward a project for Kiwanis One Day on April 21, 2012

The Kiwanis Club of Duluth, Georgia participated in the 2011 Duluth Fall Festival during the last weekend of September as a food vendor. The club raised $1,200 (after expenses) and we sold out everything by end of Sunday. Check out our photo gallery of the event by clicking here.
